Burnham take first place in both the Midweek and Weekend Leagues this year with steady results.

District Mixed Pairs

 

Simpsons - Alan & Michelle Cregeen retained their mixed pairs title for a second year. With a final finishing at 11:30pm against other finalists Jill Goodyear & Gary from the cuckoos.

Regional Pairs 2003

 

Burnham Eagles02 took 3rd place behind 2p's (Paul Webb & Phil Clayden) & The Bovi Boys in this years competition. Under the heat conditions 20 teams played in good spirits.

Regional Triples 2003

 

2 Burnham teams were victorious at the regional triples event last sunday and qualify for the champions of champions 2003. First place were the Eagles followed by Burnham Dodgers.

Burnham Piste to change

We are changing our piste to make it more challenging, by adding a layer of gravel to the top. Currently you are able to roll the boule on our piste therefore defeating the true nature of Petanque, so with the gravel we will be back to the art form of loft and ball to ball shooting.

Burnham Team win the Winter Pairs competition.

After a series of sunday competitions through out the winter, it was won by a Burnham team of John Poole & Peter Webb.

Burnham Dodgers win the Plate at Bird Hills competition

New team to Burnham Club entered the Bird Hills Open 2002 and managed to win their first trophies. They lost only 1 game all day but had to many close games which meant they ended up in the plate final to which they successfully won.
